The first edition of IKFF was conducted in India and was hosted independently by schools for their students and parents.The flm festival in 2017 featured 100 flms curated from over 25 countries exploring themes such as friendships, compassion, peer relationships, child sexual abuse and the like.

Our core team’s role has been chronicled as far back as the festival’s origin. Since inception, the festival has benefitted from strong, active & independent board members to experienced & globally-distributed execution team.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The team’s dedication & sleepless nights helped hundreds of schools host the festival with ease. A scrupulously planned guide book along with a 3-day hosting schedule was provided to every host school.
The first edition of the Make Cinema student film making competition 2017 received a whopping response! Kids of all ages from across the world sent us their creative and inspiring films. Out of the many exciting entries we received, three winners were chosen.
